Gingerbread Heart Gift Tag

Gingerbread Heart Gift Tag

DSCI0049

Spread the love and make some last minute gift tags for Christmas. The finished heart is about 2 inches x 2 inches using SMC Catania and a D hook.

Make two hearts in brown as shown below. Embroider one. I chose almonds and a cherry. But you could embroider a flower or the name or initials of the person you give the present to.

Put the two hearts on top of one another. Crochet around both with white yarn. Don’t forget to stuff before you close the last bit.

Pull some fancy ribbon through the heart using your crochet hook.

That’s it!

Lady Bugs

Lady Bugs

I have been asked to crochet 5 lady bug appliques for a soon to be sewed baby blanket. They should have two sizes and here they are. I’ll write a pattern for those later.

I imagine them as nice addition for a birthday gift or on a greeting card.
